If you’ve already completed some units and are looking to fill the gaps for your Certificate III, reach out to us. We can provide an obligation-free training gap analysis to determine which units/courses you may still need to complete.

Yes, for qualifications provided at SDS, you have the option to pay as you go. Full payment is due upon course completion.

To confirm your booking:

  • A minimum deposit of $800 is required for the Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
  • A minimum deposit of $1,500 is required for the Certificate IV in Health Care
  • For all short courses, full payment is due at the time of booking.
What options are there for enrolling into the Certificate IV in Health Care?2025-05-08T11:09:01+10:00

Option 1 – Enrol to attend the complete course over a 3 week period.

Option 2 – Enrol to attend 1 week blocks. You will be required to book Workshop 1, followed by Workshop 2, and Workshop 3, with monthly intervals between them. Ensure all workshops are completed within 3 months of starting Workshop 1.

If you have a specific roster you’d like to work around, email us your schedule, and we can help create a tailored training plan.

The price remains the same regardless of the delivery method chosen.

What options are there for enrolling into the Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue?2025-05-08T11:09:07+10:00

Option 1 – Enrol to attend the complete course over a 5 week period.

Option 2 – Enrol to attend the individual courses and credit your units over to a Certificate III upon completion of all short courses. You will receive a Statement of Attainment for each course you complete. The following courses are required to complete the Certificate III:

  • Advanced First Aid (2 days)
  • Breathing Apparatus (2 days)
  • Hazmat (2 days)
  • Participate in a Rescue Operation (1 Day)
  • Vertical Rescue (3 days)
  • Confined Space Rescue (2 days)
  • Road Crash Rescue (2 days)
  • Fire Team Operations (3 days)

If you choose to book the individual courses, the below courses must be completed prior to moving on to the remaining courses:

  • Advanced First Aid
  • Breathing Apparatus
  • Participate in a Rescue Operation

We recommend a maximum completion timeframe of 12 months from commencement.

Please note Option 2 is slightly more expensive than Option 1.
